On April 12, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., RAW SPACE will present How To Pitch Your Film Idea at 2031 Adam Clayton Powell, Jr. Boulevard in New York City.
Carolyn McDonald, whose credits include HBO, National Geographic Documentary, TNT and host of others, will provide tips on the following:
How to tailor your pitch to specific buyers
How to spotlight the most engaging parts of your story
How to pitch the assets of your project
How to give a passionate, knowledgeable pitch
How to best spend those precious 10-20 minutes with a buyer
McDonald is an award-winning executive producer of HBO's "America's Dream", the National Geographic documentary, "Bearing Light", TNT's "Buffalo Soldiers" & "Freedom Song". Carolyn McDonald has scripted works for Fox 2000, UP-TV, actor/director Glynn Turman, and a number of original pilots & screenplays.
