Vice President Joe Biden joined 2016 Democratic presidential nominee
Hillary Clinton for a campaign rally in his hometown of Scranton,
Pennsylvania, also the hometown of the former secretary of state’s
father, Hugh Rodham. The two talked about Secretary Clinton’s campaign
platform, with a particular focus on ways to stimulate further job
growth, especially in areas such as Scranton that were affected heavily
by a downturn in the American manufacturing sector. Mr. Biden also
called Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump unfit for service in
the White House and particularly to be in charge of the U.S. military.
