Georgia Plans 'Dubai Style' Economic Zone

Georgia has started work on a brand new city on its Black Sea coast. Built on unoccupied marshes and skirting Kolkheti National Park, the Georgian development-focused government expects Lazika to hold half a million people. The Dubai-style free economic zone will be fuelled by tax breaks for investors and a special constituational status, but critics say plans for a brand new city are fantastical, and a potential disaster for the area's biodiversity. Al Jazeera's Rory Challands reports from Western Georgia.
