Robert Pierpoint Dead at 86

According to the Associated Press, Robert Pierpoint has died in California following complications from hip surgery. Pierpoint broke his hip on October 12 at the Santa Barbara Retirement Community, where he and his wife, Patricia, resided.

Pierpoint, who retired in 1990, worked as a journalist for more than 40 years and covered historic events like the Korean War and the assassination of President John F. Kennedy.
